Here we go... Gas Prices

Today in good old Peoria, unleaded was going for $2.02 and mixed was $1.99. Had to go pick up my daughter for Spring break, takes a tank and a half for the round trip :rolleyes:
Of course she couldn't have picked a college closer to home :sad

Converting for the currency difference, it was roughly $2.19/gallon (USD) here in NS last time I checked (89.9CAD/L). But we're usually the same as Quebec, so I imagine we're on our way up, or already there.

But more stressing, the price of beer increased this past week! :mad2:

I can deal with gas prices, but BEER?!!!!!! Revolution seems like the only answer. BecauseUDeserveWhatEveryIndividualShouldEnjoyRegularly.
 
Yesterday, I had some running around to do and forgot to fill up when I left the Base, so I put some gas in the car out in town. :mad: $20 barely gave me a 1/4 of a tank. I paid 116 Yen per liter which came out to be $4.18 per gal where if I filled up on base it would have only been $2.08 per gal.

I thought we paid alot for gas, but with all my travels over seas lately, the US is a lot cheaper than all of them by far. Especially when you factor in that the wages the average American earns is a lot more than the average person in these countries. So when I pay the $2 plus now I think nothing about it when I compare it to what I could be paying.
