Jpappy's CP setups

Cool... can't wait to see pics!

Plants are still in transition. The madagascarensis, affinis and capensis 'red' all are regrowing from the roots so that will take some time before they get back to normal. The pygmies I just got are having a hard to adjusting as well and it may be over for them. They just don't seem to ship well...

Seems strange to me that they're having such trouble. What humidity do you keep them at?

About 50-60%. All were shipped bareroot and weren't exactly in great condition when I got them. I like buying from Cooks because the plants aren't expensive and they have the best Drosera selection...but quality is only so-so in my experience, especially the bareroot plants. I think next year I will be going somewhere else and try to catch sellers earlier in the season when the stock lists are more varied.

This happened to my aliciae as well when I ordered last fall. Took a few weeks for it to get back to normal growth. Everything looks promising for the ones growing back but I'm kinda stumped on the pygmies...they're pretty much all dead or dormant (which might as well be dead).

Just keep them around and see if you get new growth in the next year.

Great pics, Pappy! They look really healthy.

Sooo dewy
