khuli loaches

Hi,

They will hide alot if you get some for your tank. The reason you see them playful and active at the pet store is probably they have no hiding places for them to hide under.

well even if they hide alot of the time would 3 be able to stay in my tank?
Im going back to my LFS today,so I'd like to know soon.

Hi,

In my opinion a ten gallon is a little too small for three Kuhli Loaches. I thought you were gonna get some Cories for the bottom???

the pandas are about $5 a peice.....if I find any pygmy or dwarf cories I'll get them :)
if the loaches are too big then I'll deffinetly try to find the cories.

i have some kuhlis in my 10g, two to be exact, they come out and play together and my cory (YES ONE CORY!!! GET OVER IT!!!!) . When the tnak lights are out but the room light is on you can see them wiggling up and down back forth, all over really. but once lights are on, poof gone! real cute though ;)

I have 7 kuhli loaches in my 55. It's heavily planted (75 or so plants) with dwarf sag in the front. There are also 2 large pieces of dritwood. I see my kuhli loaches all day playing in the dwarf sag. At night they zoom back and forth across the tank. I'm very pleased with the activity level and I see them more than I thought I would. So I guess it depends on the tank and perhaps with the number of loaches.
