Noodles makes a good point. I initially dismissed the whole Ogre thing as a simple mistake- my main reason for suspecting MC had nothing to do with it- but rather with his day one choice to make LB the main suspect and alone on three votes- and his later vote to try and distance himself from JL who is looking more and more guilty.
If MC were guilty he would have known Ogre was killed and so to post a vote for Ogre would have been a really dumb way of making himself look innocent and put himself on the hot-seat as it did.
I think MC deserves to continue being a suspect- he's had suspicious actions- but he perhaps doesn't deserve to be top suspect.
Another front runner- ZSand looks an equally bad choice to me. It seems the campaign against him seems mainly based upon him being quiet. From what I've seen, he's always quiet. Certainly doesn't get ZSand off the hook- but perhaps killing him would be a mistake.
If I were an investigator I would think ZSand would make a much better target to investigate rather than to out-right kill. At this early stage it doesn't make much sense to kill ZSand, unless he has already been investigated and found guilty.
I've played a lot of games with Z and he's usually a lot more talkative. I think he's become one of those players who the scum like to hit early, which may be why you think he's quiet. Just my thoughts.
I'm not really convinced Zs is guilty, but the fact that he's in the same league right now with Rocker and Annie is quite odd and it worries me that he has yet to say anything today, granted he doesnt show as being online since last night. I hope he starts posting now that he sees his name being brought up. Also would like to point out that his vote for MC included two of his posts, I suppose as a reaosning for his vote, but no analysis. It looked like he was maybe pressed for time but its weird for him to say so little regarding a vote. I'm curious if he will end up switching when he returns.
I'd throw Kash in as another player who hasn't said really anything substantial but has just disappeared from the site. Likely RL issues in both cases, but its somethine worth noting.
Rocker and Annie both have the tendency to throw in a few comments and vote. Rocker actually likes to just pop and and vote without much for comments. Both have been doing this pretty steadily in the last couple games when innocent, but I have to wonder when this streak will end. I know Rocker caught some flack for this I think his first game and was lynched, so I'd hate to do the same, but it can't go like this forever.
Can't say much about Dawg or Rich at this point.
I'm very, very suspicious of MC but the point was brought up that it would be downright stupid (maybe those are my own words) for him to slip up like that. I wouldn't consider him a dangerous player per se but he's definitely smarter than that. I still am not sure about the switch to JL "just to prove a point". It seemed rather desperate and frankly I thought it was pointless.
To be honest, I'm pretty much ignoring Lady G and noodles bantering right now. It seems like they've fused into one person (I was thinking about DBZ here-fusion HA!) who likes to ramble about little bits of rather unimportant information. I start reading one of their posts, forget which one is talking, and get bored...just a side comment I thought I would throw in while thinking through things...
I'm more interested in the wycco-JL convo. I can't really see one side being "more correct" as both bring up interesting point. As Rich said, its normal for him to pick at random things and ruffle some feathers. He struck a nerve with Luv and that caught peoples attention and got her lynched. So we're stuck with either blaiming him for basically starting it or those who ended up following. We know one of those was innocent and the other voted randomly with no intention of switching. Does that make the other one (MC) guilty? Not sure. I tend to figure theres got to be a scum player on the leading vote getter, just to make sure an innocent gets the boot, but the way the votes were spread out I'm thinking most, if not all of the evil scientists were people who stuck with their original "random" votes. It was just too planned out for anything to be calculated.
I've played evil with JL many times in the past and I don't see anything overtly suspicious. Not that I expect to from him, he's good at hiding a role. I'm bringing JL back towards the neutral area on my list, but with a special condition that he needs extra watching.
Wycco hasn't really made me think he was suspicious (I think someone made a comment about him playing different and I don't think I got an answer so I'll check on that) so I wonder if this is one of those situations that happens all to often when two innocents are at each others throats over little things that end up distracting the town. On the other hand, theres not much more to go on. I plan on following the conversation more before really putting each on a separate side if it comes down to that.
Wow, I really feel like Kashta now. So there's a long post for all of you since she's mysteriously absent. Probably more to follow
