Why do you think you are over stocked?
This,

your water tests should confirm one way or another if your Bioload is too much (at least for your water change schedule)

I do weekly water changes. I have to replace my test kit, it's expired. Fish are fed once a day.

My new led light strip came in today and is now on my tank. It's so bright compared to the two lights I had on it before. I'll post photos again later.

I haven't posted about my 55g lately, currently its sitting dry, been really busy with work. Finally got time to work on my tanks. I'm thinking of what would be a good stock for the tank I got to move the rocks around and restack them, also removing the wood. Moving it to the 37g, since it's running and has some fish in it.(I'll update the post for the 37g later) I was thinking of getting into African Cichilds, since they are very brightly colored and have personalities of their own. I think 6-8 would be the most I can keep in the tank without over crowding it. What do you guys think?

Think I should update this old post again. It’s been running again since October and fish are doing really well. Recently added 6 more tetras to up the school to 12.

Stock currently:
2 baby angels
12 Black Neon Tetras
1 baby albino bristlenose pleco

Going to add 4-6 more tetras and 6-8 panda corydoras in the next few weeks. That’s kinda pushing it for me, but the tetras like big schools.

I went to PetSmart to get crickets for my geckos, ended up with 8 Neon Tetras, large ones at that. 6 of them are the size of my Black Neon Tetras. They are eating well. They hid for a day, but now are out and about, sometimes joining the black neons. I noticed the Black Neon Tetras stay at the top and the Neons stay in the middle.

Now have 20 Tetras in the tank. The Neons are now just swimming thoughout the tank, joining in with the Black Neons. No longer staying in one area. Angels leave them alone, no interest, but they are still young. I even noticed my pleco is out a lot more.

You always use multiple heaters there’s nothing worth them coming home to a 90 degree tank and dead fish

Why do you think you are over stocked?
BIO load wise, my 100gal has more then twice you stock. It has been running like this for years. My Cardinals are almost 8yrs (if I can remember when I bought them).
I agree my 90 too and I’ve never had a major issue
