My 55g tank

Why do you think you are over stocked?
This,

your water tests should confirm one way or another if your Bioload is too much (at least for your water change schedule)

I haven't posted about my 55g lately, currently its sitting dry, been really busy with work. Finally got time to work on my tanks. I'm thinking of what would be a good stock for the tank I got to move the rocks around and restack them, also removing the wood. Moving it to the 37g, since it's running and has some fish in it.(I'll update the post for the 37g later) I was thinking of getting into African Cichilds, since they are very brightly colored and have personalities of their own. I think 6-8 would be the most I can keep in the tank without over crowding it. What do you guys think?

Think I should update this old post again. It’s been running again since October and fish are doing really well. Recently added 6 more tetras to up the school to 12.

Stock currently:
2 baby angels
12 Black Neon Tetras
1 baby albino bristlenose pleco

Going to add 4-6 more tetras and 6-8 panda corydoras in the next few weeks. That’s kinda pushing it for me, but the tetras like big schools.

I went to PetSmart to get crickets for my geckos, ended up with 8 Neon Tetras, large ones at that. 6 of them are the size of my Black Neon Tetras. They are eating well. They hid for a day, but now are out and about, sometimes joining the black neons. I noticed the Black Neon Tetras stay at the top and the Neons stay in the middle.

BIO load wise, my 100gal has more then twice you stock. It has been running like this for years. My Cardinals are almost 8yrs (if I can remember when I bought them).
I agree my 90 too and I’ve never had a major issue
