My freshly made pond

Well, that is good then. Just now I lured all three of them near the surface with tropical fish flakes. Tommorow I'll need to get snails to clean that up.

You shouldn't have much of a mess if the fish are eating all the food. Just make sure you only feed them as much as they can eat in a few months. Something to try might be pellets; I feed my pond goldfish pellets. They float on the surface and don't sink the way flakes do. The pellets come in small and larger sizes, depending on the size of your fish.

I think you meant minutes, not months.

LOL, so true!! Oops, I meant minutes!!

Well today, the fish finally decided to get daring and go up to the shallower parts of the water more often. Also the black goldfish seems to be chasing the white one. Also my dad is putting the rocks around the pond. After all of this, I will go to get more plants and snails.

also my dad bought fish flakes. He mistook them for pellets, and he dosen't want to go get pellets.

So far, both of the black goldfish are looking slightly fat. Today, after I returned from school, I saw the bigger black goldfish chase the white one. The white goldfish then started to squirm while the black one was pushing it, acting like it was possibly releasing eggs. Then the white fish chased the smaller black one. Are my goldfish breeding, or are they just playing with each other? And why would they chase each other?
