Yeah, well I have tried some of the more "pink" cultivars (jacobsenii & flamingo? & maybe another "pink") in my low tech tanks & I'll just say...they're different without co2 or higher light. Not less pretty,, just maybe less pink, lol.

That little plant is still (but slowly) growing, it is caloglossa cf. beccarii, aka "red moss". It's technically an algae, but sold as a moss. It's relatively rare, especially in my country lol can expect to pay $20 for a 1.5" ball portion. It's easy though, but slow. But really pretty. My portion there is about the size of a quarter. Very small. Mine came as a random contaminant from a plant order from somewhere that sells it, so I lucked out. Been growing it from the size of a dime though lolLove the new look! What's the purple plant in the vid (pic 3?) I don't know that 1 or the really tall aponogeton(?). Nice fish pics, but I expect that from you , husband liked them too!
