My tanks

Lovely! I miss keeping shrimp but they don't do well here for me. Some water chemistry thing? I've tried 3 or 4 times, sigh. I had the prettiest turquoise blue neo-mutt I was given I had high hopes for. Shrimp are way more entertaining than I thought possible!

Snowflake looks awesome!! I'm in love 😍

Congrats on your great grand cory. She? looks fabulous!

I think female cory, but hard to say. I've got a few.

That one, my original bunch had fry. I sold those fry to someone who kept them to further breed. A friend ended up buying offspring from those ones, which in turn his ended up spawning and such now I've got them from him.

Got a rasbora video for you, they were feeling sassy after dinner today

Geez, pretty plants, rainbows I think, & a very cute loach & snail...& your rasboras again, ;). I showed my husband & he likes them, especially the pangio & rasboras. But his heart might belong to Denisonii barbs, clown loaches & of course to me & my fish choices :D. We've shared this hobby for more than 40 years. He does miss his CA cichlids...& undergravel filters, lol.

Well that is one friendly loach; i have a pangio merysi in one of my tank - a huge monster from the depths - it is at least 5 years old - anyway if it catches me even looking at it it will scampers into hiding - if only i could get a picture of it - that thing must be like twice as large as any kuhli i've ever owned (twice as large in mass). What makes it even larger is i have it with some pangio sheffi which are like itsy bitsy kuhli about 1/4 to 1/6 the mass of a normal kuhli.

Haha yeah some can be like that. I've got a couple myersi mixed in and they're sausages.

My pangio love the sußwassertang and cladophora algae at the bottom of their tank, they're always among it day and night. So I see them quite often. Maybe they don't think they're out in the open and think they're hiding because they're under it even though they're beside the glass lol

I had 2 pangio semicinctas that hung out in floating India fern all the time. Scared the crap outta me the first few times. Them too when I poked them to see if they were ok. They got so I could reach in the tank for water changes etc without moving. The other 4 were regular bottom fish. Then I moved them to a larger tank & they'd all wait for me under plants by the door end of the tank.

10g got some new plants (myriophyllum tuberculatum, persicaria sao paulo, juncus repens) and I fixed the light so it's back to having the full bar of light. Increased light intensity for the new plants

New plants:

Myriophyllum tuberculatum, probably gonna kill it because it supposedly is a difficult co2 necessary plant annnnd i dont use co2 lol shall see how it fares. Ill be sad if it dies though, its so fluffy and cute

Juncus repens

Persicaria sao paulo. I got a couple stems intended for another tank, but this tiny little cluster type stem would have been dug up something awful by the big cories, so decided I'd place it in this tank. It's going super red under the light.

And older plants, but wanted to take pictures of:

Ludwigia sp red
1000126990.jpg

Marsilea crenata, cute but slow growing little plant.
1000126988.jpg

Caloglossa cf. beccarii, aka red moss. I sold a bunch of this recently, this is what I kept. Made a good penny off of it too.
1000126989.jpg

Helenthium tenelem, red variety.

And a photo of the shrimp tank. Had my first batch of babies born in it this week too
