Oh that sucks. My pair is acting odd they do there lil dance female colors up but male wont. She is in the pot but he stays behind it. I dont know what wrong with them. Oh well. Hope your pair spawns again cuz dont look like mine are any time soon.

Third spawn as of two days ago I only noticed the wigglers. Parents are alone so hopefully will get some EBJD fry out of them this time.
I got my 135gal today. I have my loisellei and JD pair in there. Im seriously thinking bout getting rid of the Jack Dempsey's though. Only cichlids I will keep out of the ones I have are my Loisellei's and my Oscar cuz he looks clean.
That's a shame GEV. Maybe you should try and get something more interesting and rare in the hobby? ;-) you know how I've been pushing that lately hehehe. But my spawn looks great along with my EBJDA grow out he's stunning right now, not much of a beak nice deep blue coloring and finage. I'll post some pics tonight

Its not that there not rare that gots me not caring for them its just I got them to breed and thats it. There cool fish but never cared for them as a whole. I got my oscar and I love oscars. Not sure how I went so many years without owning one. Ive always liked Parachromis and well I got the ones Ive always wanted the loisellei's I got my Oscar. My next favorite fish are the pleco's I own. Got 4 more Ide like to own but cant since I would need more tank space. 1 im gonna buy soon since there super hard to get the other two being very common ill wait on.

Wow this spawn is huge! I'd never expect such a large amount of fry from a 5in pair, there's at least 300. Photots are being uploaded now!
