Back with another update, then maybe I'll let the thread die.
Nobody flame me, I know I've been a bad girl. I said I'd wait, let things grow out, but I brought home a cherub angel yesterday - I watched him all day, and couldn't leave him at work. He's about 1" long, I figure he and the yellow clown goby combined weigh about half as much as the clown or fairy wrasse do, so it's not THAT much bioload (I know, rationalization doesn't work)
I also added a brain and bubble coral to the tank a few days ago. The bubble's fine, but the brain is very bleached. I bought it for next to nothing, the store didn't seem to have much faith in its recovery. There's no tissue damage or recession, and it's eating really well (and what an appetite, holy cow!) so I'm sure it'll recover.
I moved the leather into the small tank until I can find it a good home - I'm fairly sure now that it's what was ticking the other corals off. Now that it's out (since Friday), everything else is expanding more.
A shot of my little hitchhiker, who is coming along nicely. I'm starting to see red/brown streaking in the tissue, and it's eating like a champ
ADD --> Here's the best pic of the angel I've been able to get so far (I cut this out of a FTS):
