Great idea with the paint! I had no idea they made paints like that...

Thanks Damo, you'd be suprised. They have hammered metallic looking versions, faux stone, etc. Just finished the last spray so after a 30 minute dry I'm pulling the tape and taking a look.

Almost forgot... ordered 16 zebra nerites for the 90 gallon Rift tank from Msjinkzd. Should arrive sometime next week.

Update before I devote the rest of the day to SE Asian maintenance and to spraying the bowfront.

The test spray of the 10 gallon with the faux stone went well and I'll certainly be using the same spray for the bearded dragon tank. The 36 gallon bowfront will get boring old flat black.

The spray of the 36 gallon bowfront (flat black) went well. Spraying the back of a tank is the only way to go for background; certainly worth the effort. The tank is now in place. Guess I need to get the camera back out...
