this actually kind of made my monday morning... and the responses just add more to the hilarity.
i thought this was a pretty light-hearted forum. i guess some of you guys are really hardcore. which is fine, but if you don't find something funny, don't participate. if you find a problem with it, PM A MOD! or PM anyone else you feel the need to get ugly with.. but keep it private.
i can't imagine even someone new to the world of fish keeping would read the original post and run with it without reading on or doing some research...
and the original post is pretty similar to some things we see here from newbies... i was not surprised to see one of the things that REALLY irritates me, some of you posted a pretty rude response rather than a friendly and constructive one. that's not very likely to encourage them to seek any more help from this forum, which has some very experienced members ready to give useful, friendly advice.
for once, i'm with Bob... lighten up or get out!
