Ogre's Tank - almost here

Looks good, but be carefull with the paradise fish (aka blue paradise gourami) they will eventually fight
 
I've now added 5 Spotted Cories. Again, more pics when they get settled.

I did something stupid. I was going to add a drop or two of water conditioner to the bag, but I accidentally dumped in about 2 ounces. The temp had adjusted, but I only got one load of tank water in the bag. Will they be OK?

What kind of sand is that? Do you find the Paradices nippy at all?

The sand is Quikrete concrete sand from Lowes. I like it. Its a pretty fine grain, but its pre-rinsed so I just dumped it in the tank. The filter picked up a tiny little bit, then it was clear. Of course, I added water very slowly. I really like the rocks in it. They are mostly small, with a couple of big ones.

The cories have already started digging in it. :) The filter still picks up a little bit and I pick up more vacuuming. Oh well.

The paradises' have become a bit nippy today after adding the cories. Uno, is trying to show everyone that he's still boss, but no one really cares. If a cory is by himself, the gouramis may harras him a little. Mostly they chase each other. Uno has popped Deus twice today, but not nipped any fins yet. I'm waiting to see what happens.

Uno isn't that much bigger than Deus and Deus seems very cunning.

You planning on putting a background on it? Would look better with one i think nice tank tho.
