Setup for Corydoras Eques (species only)

Added some new Helenthium quadricostatus on the right side where the sword used to be, moved the sword to the back.

While I have a decently strong light the picture above is from a 120 which is a wee bit taller than a 20 long at 24 inches.
Just a wee bit hahaha
Yeah you'd need a crazy strong light for red low levels with that depth.

Emeralds if i'm not mistaken ?? I've just removed 5 chunky ones and replaced them with skunk cories, first night in the tank and breeding with the rest, it's a daily ritual ?

These are corydoras eques, not emeralds :)

what is pearling?
is it plants releasing oxygen?
what type of plant does it?

also should i get more cories LOL i saw how many pygmies you had and thought my bronzes would be happy with a few more friends

Any plant can release oxygen, no specific kinds. They often will do it after a water change, though this isn't "true" pearling like you may see in a tank run on CO2.
They will also release oxygen from injuries in the plants as well. It's fascinating to see though regardless of the incident causing it.

If you have space for more cories, and don't have fish that would eat the pygmies, I say more the merrier :)

ok! ill def add more cories to the gang
the green ones never die but the peppered ones i didnt know they were coldwater... the baby ones all died.. big ones are hard to find here.

ill look out for pearls, cos i have a whole ton of plants
