I purchased a female betta about a month ago,and a week later after her introduction into my community tank(after a week of quarantine in an 8 gallon),she developed ick.I then transferred her back to the 8 gallon tank which is then treated with oceanfree ick, slime and velvet go away! for 2 weeks since i heard that full ick treatment takes at least 2 weeks.
Yet after her white spots vanished ,she remained lethargic and stayed at the bottom after having to transfer her to a uncycled permanant 3.6 gallon tank. She is currently not eating at all,no signs of parasites but her coloration turned pale, and sits at the bottom all day.
I used the old media hoping for a quick cycle, but it appeared to fail...
What to do,she had been in this state for a more than a week already?
The fourth picture was taken a week ago when she started to lay at the bottom, the rest are from today.

You really should have one. Without one, It's hard to identify issues. I'd be doing daily water changes.

It would be best to get the master kit that tests
Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate
pH

At a bare minimum, ammonia and nitrate. Liquid, not the dip strips.
