so lfs had no more lemon tetras in stock, (though they did have some nice looking silver tips), they did still have some juvie rams.
I picked a female, mostly because I've been on the fence with my existing ram's gender so figured it'd be better to risk 2 females than it would to risk 2 males in the same tank.
This is my first ram, Joker.
And this is the new little lady, I've named Harlie (you know, harlie-quinn with Joker?)
This was in store, the one I picked. Nice round tummy, looked good and healthy.
During acclimation. Just a wee little lady.
And introducing her to the existing ram, I watched and waited over an hour to finally meet within the same tank lol
Bad vid quality compared to my usual, but this was their first time meeting.
She needs to grow into her eyes and fins, theyre comically huge.
After couple hours, some pecks from Joker, but they seem calm near each other and seem to not mind company of one another.
Will still watch, if it goes south it's not like I'm short of tanks I can't move one to.
With that, stock for this tank is done.
8 corydoras eques
2 Bolivian rams
6 lemon tetras
9 ember tetras
I feel it's comfortable, everyone seems happy so I feel I won't need to add on to tetra groups unless they spawn.
