Started Mini Bow 2.5 Pico Reef!

corals are cheap if you know where to go.... *cough* local reef club *cough*

Thanks, but I disagree. I chose this species because its natural behavior of perching on rock and corals is suited just fine to a small tank. This is the only fish I would have even considered for this tank. The fish seems happy and eats like a pig.

Great zoos and mushrooms, I love them both...

And clown gobies are my FAV fish ever :hearts:

Thanks guys! The clown goby is so awesome... and of course, adorable. He's gotten to the point where he will quickly swim to the top of the tank and beg for food every time he sees my hand, even if I am just topping off. He's even eaten mysis from my fingers!

I don't have much else to report on this tank, but no news is good news! I don't expect to buy more frags for this tank, I think what I have will grow in nicely and I'm willing to be patient. My zoos are spreading a little bit, especially the really cool ones with the orange centers. I've got coralline growing in on my rock and it's starting to look really cool. Every time I test the water, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate are all 0. That's so much better than what I expected 2 months and 13 days into this project, in terms of stability. I only do a 30% water change once a week, and I top off daily.

Yes, I have 2 different varieties of clove polyps. I have some greenish-looking ones, and I have some others with neon green centers. I was lucky enough to get them on the same frag, and then the neon green ones split off from the others while I had the rubber band on them.

Very nice!
