Started Mini Bow 2.5 Pico Reef!

:laugh:

I dunno, by the inch per gallon rule, I could keep him in a 29 gallon!

FTT- yep, I'm a huge PHAN. Saw 'em about 20 times, including Big Cypress and Coventry.:dance:

Always nice to meet a PHAN. I've seen about 40 shows, but I stopped going before Cypress.....I was able to hit Clifford Ball, the Great Went and the Lemon Wheel. But I think this discussion is for another forum 8^ )

Good luck again on the tank!

Tested my water again tonight. Things are looking good.
pH= 7.9
ammonia= 0
nitrite= 0
nitrate= 10
temp= 79
SG= 1.025- forgot to top off this morning.:(

And..... I got some more frags- green hairy shrooms, some new zoos, and some clove polyps, including a neon green color. The zoo colors are super sweet IMO, as well as the neon green clove polyps!!!!!! :)

This tank is on par with my planted discus tank as far as being exciting!!!!!!!!! :dance:

And now for the new pics...

Just a quick update:

Everything is going well. I haven't done a water change since Friday, but my water's been testing out great.

pH= 8.0- getting better!
ammonia= 0
nitrite= 0
nitrate= 10
temp= 79
SG= 1.024

I'm really happy with the way things are going so far, and I'm already in the planning stages of another nano- what else would I do with a PC strip that just sitting around, lol!

I like the neon green clove polyps they DO look super sweet!! :D

Thanks guys!

WeeNe- I don't think I have the proper lighting for SPS, even though it seems like a lot. The accounts of SPS corals surviving under PC lighting are few and far between, as I understand it. Plus, I don't really feel that I have the experience level to take on SPS corals.

The tank actually looks pretty crappy right now, hence the lack of pics. Right after I took those pics, pretty much, the new frags all fell off the rocks, lol. So the frags are being held on to the rock with a number of rubber bands for now. I can't wait until they attach!
