..... I make killer omletes!...
I also have been known to make some great ones.. Just a touch of baking powder to the mixture makes them, just right fluffy! To me, an omlette is not an omlette unless Velveeta cheese is part of it... mmmm...
;)

I've not tried baking powder, Joe..I'll have to give it a shot. Velveeta is essential, and I add some shredded cheddar too.
I pre-saute my veggies so they aren't so raw either.

Welcome, Bluegreen...this is where we discuss everything besides fish...of course you can bring them up to if you'd like. I don't like fish in my omelets, but shrimp or crab is great :D

Well, Sublime...it's pretty sad that you know what people have said on different threads...

It was brought to my attention by the other poster here, and it was nothing but copying text, I didn't KNOW what you said.... :sim:

About the baking powder - use only 1/4 teaspoon or so for 2 to 4 omlettes. It really does work! I need a report from you... A mix of cheddar and Velveeta sounds great!

(..is this where I invite myself to breakfast?...) :D

Hmm, crispy bacon, sausage, fresh ground pepper and a touch of salt... Mmm... All good stuff for the perfect omlette! ..oops, no icon for that..

I would almost eat a piece of steak for a tomato, onion, and cheese omelette right now.

If I keep thinking about this I may just make a late-night IHOP run!

Don't let them 'under-cook' your hash browns like Perkins did to me a few weeks back! I don't know how you like them, but mine better be slighly 'crispy'!
:)

I caved. I have no tomato or cheese, but as we speak im making a red onion omelette (all I had). I haven't eaten dinner yet so it all works out!:D

And yah, my hashbrowns should be crispy and browned all over the edges.
