Who has a pond?

We have two ponds, one is about 200 gallons without the rock, the other is about 15 gallons with the rock. It is just for plants though. lol The bigger pond has three small koi in it now.

My husband was building ponds for his job there for a while so we get lots of stuff for cheap. lol. Pretty much anything to do with ponds, plants or fish. lol.

We also have a preformed pond I think its 60 gallons, but its been so long. lol. we haven't gotten it set up yet. Not sure where we'll put it.

One of my most favorite places in the world. Sittin' by my pond on a hot day, iced tea in hand. How cool is that. 90 gallon pond w/waterfall. Day Lillies, Tiger Lillies, Solar lights, Rocks, Ornaments, the works. 2 goldfish too. Ummm, Comets I think. They was given to me so... :)

I don't have a big backyard so I can only build a small ornamental pond :) Took me one week to do it and in the process it also gave me a farmer's tan LOL

Fellow Ontario pond

Hi There. I'm from Southwestern Ontario Canada and have 13 ponds in my yard where I have been breeding Koi and Goldfish for 24 years.

Yours Koily, Lorraine

It's times like this when I realize I take my farm upbringing for granted: I've been stocking our pond w/speckle & rainbow trout (it makes for a great Father's day gift!)...it's spring-fed but my Father got out the bulldozer & has begun a second pond - seen on the top left side of the pic (a bit like watching grass grow...but it's bigger now).:)
We do fish from the dock or from the canoe...I miss it!!!

I agree! Next to sitting near my indoor tanks, my pond is favorite outdoor place. And with the beauty of wi-fi, I don't have to be confined indoors to surf the web!:)

Fun thread, it's great seeing other ponds.
