Well it has been just over a month & a half so I figured I would give a little update, not much to report though.
This is what it looked like when I first planted it, after a small adjustment...
And now...

Yeah not much of a difference except the explosion of snails!

The water is also a wonderful amber color from the wood.
Well here are some close-ups and growth.

The dwarf sag has only died off in spots, no new growth. The Tropica sword doesn't look great but it has a lot of new growth and has sent out crazy runners (or just roots, not sure if runners is the proper term here).

Close-up of all the new leaves on the tropica sword.

Java ferns and anubias are about the same, did get a new leaf on the anubias though. The moss has grown the most out of anything in the tank I think. You can see one of my prego shrimps there too.

The moss is only really growing directly below the light but I figure it will grow in over time.

I just can't seem to photograph my shrimp that well.
So now I have about 50 baby ivory apple snails (VERY varied in size & temporary), 9 RCS (I lost one recently but do not know why, 2 prego), 1 marble sized spotted ramshorn (I think) and maybe 12 baby ramshorn and who knows how many MTS! My Betta LOVES MTS as a treat though it is ok. :lipssealedsmilie:
I would like a little more growth though, but talk about low maintenance! I think once I get some more shrimp in there (to make more "fertilizer") I will add a faster growing plant and upgrade 1 of the bulbs to a 15watt. Any suggestions or comments very welcomed!
