Bulbs at wall-mart?

i havnt try to plant b4 so u just drop it in there n wait for a few days u dunt need to add any condition? :joe:
This is mine afer about a week and a 1/2:
The other is floating and can't get a decent pic. I used one of the pillers to "hold" it down, but I'm not sure if that was a good idea, so I let it float back up...

No.... not yet. I'm hoping to add some in the next 2 weeks (I am upgrading from 17 watts to 56 watts....)
any suggestions on CO2?

Here is a pic of one that turned out for me 2 just like this one, but when my sister got a new tank and was sad she didn't have any plants (live) in her's when I cut back my anachris, I gave some of that and a few Vals and the other one like this to her so she could get a start. It did look MUCH better before I had to throw my cichlids in the tank (have no vals left and only a sprig of watersprite left) and they reeked havock on this plant too, but this is one I ended up with. After I set up my 75 and have no cichlids in the community tank I plan on buying a few more.

Heh, yeah I'm a newb. I wasn't sure what the heck I was supposed to do with these bulbs, so I dug them into the gravel initially..like buried them completely. Then I found this post and thought "ohh crap!" dug em out and found that two of the three in my ten gallon had sprouted. So I put the root into the gravel and am now hoping for the best.

I got very lucky with those bulbs. If they don't grow, you can return them and the company will send you new ones.
Mine got to a point that the plants actually dropped seeds and having new plants.
