Hm, I think I did have a clown killifish fry before. It looked just like that, and I wasn't sure if it was from the oto or the clown. It died, though, during my move..

plan B for feeding clown killie frys without sufficent infusoria, i sprinkle a very small amount of spiraluna powder and that did it! they start feeding on it, enough to take them for the first 10 days of life, then BBS to the rescue. these guya re super tiny, smaller than a newly hatch betta frys, BBs is like 3 times bigger than thier mouth

raising killie frys like a walk in the park, clown killie frys are super small that on thier first 2 weeks are impossible to eat BBS, i did the spiraluna and microfood method, but the best is infusoria, but if you want a non stop culture daily this is what i did, and works like a charm.

when you hatch clown killie eggs using peat moss method ( which is the best ), the water that you use is the best source, take some peat moss and water from the hatching tray and leave it standing in a small close lid container even in total darkness for couple of days. then take a strong light you will see all these micro organism swimming all over the place, pour half of those to your frys daily, then just add aquarium water to repelish the culture, you will have a non stop infusoria, but make sure theres some java moss in your killie fry container that way it can promote some too, right now i have over 30+ 2 weeks old frys, some are already eating BBS. i use the peat moss incubation.

all they need is to make it through that first 2 weeks, i seperate
those bigger ones that already eating BBS that way i can control the feeding, replace the water with the water that has the infusoria culture daily, smaller container such as this ziplock container works very well so that they can spot the food right away, hope this works for those who are going to breed clown killies or any smaller killie frys in the future

update since this morning almost 100 percent of the frys for the clown killies hatch, all in one day. i have 28 eggs in that peat moss, 24 already hatch

Dangit, I picked up two female clowns from Aquascapes but both died - 1 looked weak but the other? Maybe the guy was stressing her out. It was exciting seeing my male flare out his fins. I may try again...
