Finally got that salt tank...

You really should allow that nem to settle in before you feed it. It takes a while for a nem to fully acclimate to new water and feeding it can mess them up a bit. Let it deflate/inflate until it become less frequent. By then it should have found a spot and stop wandering so much. BTAs are a little better than other nems but I would still hold off on feeding it.

I had fed the clowns and they had gotten some. I didn't see it actually in the mouth just caught in the tentacles. I'll be sure to stick to pellets with the clowns till it settles. Thanks for the info!

I've been browsing around online reading about clown/nem relationships and I know that it is not guaranteed clowns will host a nem, especially a green bubble tip, but I have decided to try an experiment. I'm going to post pictures of clowns hosting nems on two, maybe 3 sides of my tank and see if I can encourage my clowns to host. If not, it's nbd but it'd be super sweet if they did :)

He's found a spot :D it's like an inch from where I had originally placed him. His foot is stretched down almost to the sand bed, didn't realize how big he was :D

That is an awesome nem! All the way to the sand bed, someone's got a big belleh :D

You weren't kidding O.o he stretched right on out in that crack. Such strange and pretty creatures.

I've read about the picture method. Kind of funny some of the stories about clowns just getting ticked off :). Another option is a mirror. Your clowns see the "other clowns" and feel threatened and dive in before the "others" can :).

It's kind of a good thing that the nem was allowed to settle in before gtting beat up by the clowns.

A mirror outside of the tank or one of those floating betta mirror things?

Outside. No idea what a floating mirror is. Sounds cool though :)!
