Oh sure, throw a curve ball, take a shot, and ask if it's a slider. Sheesh! ;)
Sorry...bad pic. Here's a fuzzy one but you can see the dorsal shape a bit better. :)

Number 4 is definately a rosy barb..got some right now...there is no black spot on the tail - its an air bubble in the picture...and the fin is not pointed..it's in motion, and deflecting towards you in the picture...
You are correct, there's no black spot in the picture, it's a bubble. When I went home for lunch, they definitely have black spots now. It was probably faded due to stress this morning when I took the pic.

Oh duh! Okay, not only am I sick with the flu and unable to think coherently, but my eyes are going as well.

I stand corrected.

Now I'm going to go lie down and pray I get better.

#1 is a stumper. It's so hard to tell. Red Minor = Serpae Tetra...they're the same. I'm not sure if it's that one or the Red Phantom....or neither, who knows. It seems mine has hardly any red on it's body, just the bottom fins.

Anybody find a good website that says how to tell them apart?

most serpaes I've seen are red all over with the big black dot on their side and on the dorsal fin.

the pics of the red phantoms had the black dorsal fin, the black dot on the side and red fins with a silver body. I would bet it's the red phantom but maybe someone knows something I don't ;)
