Wow that is a sweet looking tank, love the anubias and the roots on the right.
Thank you. Yeah the right side and most of the background plants are set just need to grow in to see if any tweaking is needed.
The foreground and the left side of the tank is still in flux.
Very nice tank!
And I have some problems with BBA ... I tried everything (filters cleaned more often), changes in the fertilizing / light / CO2 ... nothing worked) until after all I got to reset ... I cleaned all the gravel to remove dirt. (one of the causes BBA).
Have you recently cleaned gravel?
Or another possibility: under the gravel (new or cleaned) you have fertile substrate exhausted?
Well the good news is I've never had issues with BBA in the past in the last year (hair algae and GSA another is another story) and the only thing I've changed in the 8 weeks is me messing with ferts. I have cleaned the gravel to rid the tank of the mineralized soil that was disturbed during the move (long drawn out process many water changes).
My logic for the cause of BBA was over dosing CSM+B for two weeks went from 1g per week to 9g based on some calculator but that may have been my down fall for my plant mass and since I do water changes every 2 weeks, well the tank was out of balance. What I'm taking as a good sign is that the new growth (having gone down to 2g CSM+B per week will go back down to 1g if necessary) seems to be BBA free and for the moment not spreading on the hard scape. The remaining BBA on the plants I hope just goes as the leaves fall off and/or I cut them off.
I'll keep an eye on it and adjust hoping to get it back to BBA free.
