Yes, as crappy as that sounds, I have a family that is not that understanding as most of yours. So when my husband works I get to be on the internet, when he is home, I have to sneak quick peeks on here. So that is why I did a Peek-A-Boo last night. And why I was only interested in Emo night one.

I am sorry all I can't stay on for nightfall, I hope we get a mafia, the colonel would be nice. I'll be back in the morning.

Later after nightfall, I questioned why I saw you on and off at nightfall and you respond that you were watching 'The Longest Yard' with your family at nightfall. Keep in mind the 'The Longest Yard' has a running time of 113 minutes. Even if you didn't watch the end credits, that should have kept you tied up until at least 8:30 EST.

When I push you again that I did see you on and off at nightfall, you say that was impossible, you were bathing your daughter at 8:00 EST. Unless you've got a TV in your bathroom (or a bathtub in your TV room) it's unlikely that you were watching a movie AND bathing your daughter at nightfall. Which one was it?

You know I won't go into details because it none of your beeswax, but her bedtime is seven, I know that she went to bed at about 7:05-7:15. Then she got up and needed a bath at around 7:45-8:00 then I put her to bed and that is that I have no idea how you could have seen me, that is just impossible, but think what you want.

Anyone care to see Ogre & Beth distancing themselves?

I'm sure that there are more cases of Ogre and Beth distancing, but these are ones that I was able to easily find...

On Day 2, I make a strong case for Beth, based on her Emo goof and the fact she claimed to be on but never caught that she had botched her vote. Charlie (known innocent) agrees and then votes for Beth.

My top suspect at this point is Beth. As Mad pointed out, she has her timeline all messed up. Oh what a tangled web we weave.
I vote to lynch Beth

Ogre immediately responds to Chas' vote. Says that he can see how Beth might be mafia, but with Charlie on her it might not actually be so...

I can see the lure for Beth as a potential mafia here. It's a good analysis by Mad. However, I'm not real fond of charlie's sudden appearance and almost instant train jumping. We have a very different charlie here.

A little later, Ogre points out that lynching Beth could be a waste of time...

Great, if Beth is mafia, then she's one to control the voting. That would tell us a great deal, but we don't have time to waste.

Here on Beth's list now, Ogre is her candidate for Colonel because of his helpful and logical posts....not usually the best reason for calling someone mafia, let alone voting them. Keep in mind that she's pretty much had him innocent up to this point...

Ogre-you have alot of helpful points, and some logical posts, you are the kind of player that could easily hide as mafia till the end. I have thought of you as innocent until now I think that you are Colonel and your trying to be helpful only to secretly gain the trust of the town only to hit the most innocent in the end. You I think are Mafia, and the Colonel.My suspects are and in no particular order

Rb
LC
and Charlie

Ogre responds to Beth.... starts out assuming Beth is innocent, then mafia. Ends up pointing out that Chas (known innocent) and HN (known mafia) are on Beth, and she's likely not a good vote based on that...

Something strange just happened... I'm not sure if I can explain what I'm freaked out about here.

Assume that Beth is innocent for a second... why vote for me? She says that charlie is mafia, but because she thinks I'm the don, she votes for me instead. She can think what she likes, but her vote is just wrong. With her vote on charlie, it would effectively cinch the vote for him, unless all the non-charlie voters manged to agree on one person to vote. Wouldn't it make sense to do that?

Now assume that Beth is mafia... she wouldn't want to vote charlie if he's mafia too. And if he's innocent, then she wouldn't want to be seen as that clinch vote for charlie.

It seems like Beth is mafia to me. I'll admit that I wanted to hear what charlie said (if anything) and see who else jumped on the charlie train. I really don't know about Cory, I'd lean him innocent at the moment, but Ice following me has me concerned.

Unfortunately, look who's on beth at the moment... charlie and hooked, not the greatest combination to follow right now.

Next day, Beth is still saying Ogre is the Colonel...

Ice I think Rb is mafia, but If I had to go with my top 2 for a vote he would not be one of them. My top #1 vote is Ogre-as the Colonel.And HN or LC wouldd be second

Here Ogre's no longer worried about Beth being mafia, as she's apparently willing to vote RB with him...

Thinking out loud here. Bear with me.

So, say two mafia on Ice and that leaves two mafia out of either bkw, LC, and beth. I was pretty concerned about beth, but then, she says that she'll switch to rb. If that's the case, then I'm not worried. If all the innocents go to rb, then we'll have at worst a tie going into nightfall.

bkw seems more of a hit & run voter, so I'm not so sure if his vote is mafia or innocent. At this point it seems pretty useless, so hopefully it will change. Same for LC (except the hit & run part).

OK, so I move back on rb and beth moves to rb. That makes it 3-3 rb and ice with the ENTIRE CONTROL of the night falling to LC and bkw... I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that.

It's kind of funny. At this point, it all comes down to whether you believe Ice is innocent or not. I know mad thinks Ice is guilty as heck. I'm thinking that rb's vote is almost an OMGUS vote. His single defense was the line, 'if you vote for me we lose.' Which has pretty been used by every mafia in every game ever.

I vote to lynch rb again.

Looks like alot of deflection off of Beth by Ogre, doesn't it? I've trimmed some of the posts, but you can follow the links to the actual post if you'd like to see the whole post. The posts should be in chronological order, though.

Ogre and Beth are definitely scumbuddies...
