Thanks so much for the compliments lvsfish. The substrate in the Tang rift tank is a 50/50 mix of Tahitian moon sand and white aragonite. The salt/pepper effect really helps the fish pop. These are all relatively young specimens and they have not yet reached color maturity. As time passes, they'll start showing more of their yellows, reds, and oranges.

Yo Top, good to see you. Not a bad idea... the pair I have in the Tang setup are both females I believe. I'd love to do a species specific tropheus moorii tank as well but 36 g. just isn't big enough. You bring up a great point; would be great to do a species-specific setup...
