Tiny Freshwater Fish-Discussion Thread

Dario dario is on here, lol:) .I did something on them a while back(page 8, apparently), am considering putting them in my 10 gallon.

I think I'm going to finish with these updates(except I keep finding more and more fish! More and more!) and then consolidate, because this is getting unwieldy.

haha, well awesome then! I looked but must have missed them. My lone male(I am attempting to acquire some ladies atm) is doing well in my paludarium. It appears that he freaked out the other day to some music and his image in the tank glass..... He isn't smart, but he is good looking.

Nice work on the list, by the way. This is amazing stuff...

As promised, the finished rainbowfish list. Note that in this I relied heavily on this site:

I am not going to include more brackish Pseudomugil here, but they exist.

Pseudomugil signifer is a fish you have to admire. Living in a PH from 5.5-7.8ish(this is taken from one specific site, not the one above, but the others say the equivalent) it thrives in freshwater, brackish, and marine. Debated sizing, but I believe the maximum is two inches. According to my reference website, there are significant size differences between the northern and southern population.

Pseudomugil paskai is pretty similar to Gertrude's Rainbow.

Cavefish(generally protected)
Swampfish(a type of cavefish? I need to eat)
