dangerdoll and coler seem suspicious to me.... danger doll for the early finger pointing with no reason... and again, coler for reasons i've stated above.

finger pointing for no reason? I was pointing at those that were quick to finger point themselves so early in the game or that were posting illogically and I do believe you were in that list.... hmmmm.... you are only solidifying your position on my list but I am not ready to say you are guilty yet because I feel stronger about jpappy at this time. Also, I am now noticing that a few peeps have used this same reasoning for having me on their list. This leads me to believe the mafia is nervous about my being in the game and I will be watching you folks that used this excuse to watch me. Can Mafia 5 really be this easy?

O jeeeez! Here we go...jo, you really need to read game 4 and see how cl's nonsense posting got'em in trouble. I can't tell if you are just really confused or a slipped-up mafia because you're a newb. I think it's pretty obvious that the vets need to be watched because they always have a few tricks up their sleeves.

Would it be effective to have a limit to how many posts per person each "day?" I mean look at last game. So many posts were either completely unrelated to the game, people going on huge rants about nothing (*cough* neon julie *cough*), and then people taking things waaay to personally. It might take away from the game. Less to analyze but still we already have 13 pages! People don't want to read all that! Simple lists of suspicions and why is sufficent and then when the time comes a post about who you want to vote for. I don't know it's just an idea...

I wasn't suspicious of you pappy until I got to these threads. You seem to like to lay out exactly how the mafia are or is it you are playing it as you want the mafia to find the mayor, detective, doctor a bit easier? I dunno, the way this second quote is.... it's just saying to me that you'd rather just everyone post a one liner in order to keep you and your homies safe. You have made it to the top of my suspicious list.

No offense, but the fact that you are "fixated" on jpappy and joander when others (including myself) have stated suspicion is a bit curious to me. Are you looking for the "easy deflection"?

Well 197 post later and its better then last game....not to much role playing, some good looks, and Jo pulling a cory-love on day one...lol fun times.

now why would i be TRYING to act like a mafia? As i have said before, i just do not know how the game is played. It seems odd to me that coler would just come out and say that "Im and Innocent dont vote for me".... its just not what you do... but then again, when you think, why would he come out and say that if he WAS indeed a mafia, wouldnt you think he would know that he was calling attention to himself by saying that, and wouldnt he not want to call attention to himself?

2. clown-lover, the post about how members from last game hav a higher chance of being mafia make me think he doesn't know wht the word random means, or it's misdirection.

Last thought:
The games random...and ref old games make sense to a point. posting style, defensive behavior, and typing patterns, IMO, are ok to ref due to the fact that everyone one has access to the old games. any other ref to roles should be ignored.

Simple.. I'll spell it out for you and every one else that doesn't seem to get it.

In this game we have 4 new people and 14 old people. While everyone has an equal chance of being selected as mafia, the 14 old people have a higher overall percentage of being selected than the 4 newbies.

Any of the statements stating a specific person would make a great mafia are simple accusations that have been made to see what type of response if any was given based upon their previous gameplay as a stratigic person. Most of the people I have singled out in this way were lynch players in the last game and not guppies. So now that that part is out.. was it the response given the one that I was looking for or something completely off the wall. Could that response lead me to believe that this person truely is mafia or am I barking up the wrong tree..

u just created a unture paradox. how can they hav an equal chance of being picked and a higher chance at the same time.

Tell me this CL#2(ur number 2 cause cory lover was here first) in the lottery every number has the same odds of being picked 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and 6th. If the lottery numbers were 1,2,3,4,5, and 6 would the odds be any different? no cause, although it is a funny coincidence that these numbers mean something to us in that order the odds are the same. Past events hav no effect on future events that are selected at random. just cause last weeks numbers were 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 doesn't mean they can't be the same this week or ever again, because no matter what if you are using the same system the odds are equal.....thats the point of randomness. if what you were saying is true then playing the lottery or picking anything at random would be alot easier.

Sandy steps back into the fray after enjoying a day out. He managed to pick up a new light for his tank at a reasonable price and enjoyed a fantastic flick at the cinema (Transformers).

Good Lord! I'm gone for a few hours and the thread explodes, but that is great, glad to see there is a lot of posting to read for info. I read through real quick and will need to go back and reread later tonight but right now my watch list is:

joander: I think that they either goofed CL style or else just don't proofread. Their more recent posts have been much more put together and focused, interesting.

DD: For the finger-pointing at the finger-pointers comments, and because she is a really good player and worth watching.

Coler: The opening post was mind shattering. Almost as fun as a who's on first skit. But I tend to think he is innocent because a Mafia would be nuts to open the game like that, unless that is what he wants us to think. There's a paradox for you!

Ogre and Ice: A+ players, as much as I'd like to trust them it is just to hard not to doubt them at the beginning of a game. They are master sleuths and could probably convince me the Easter Bunny is the Don.

bkw: He must be Mafia!!! (JOKING) I dunno no read yet.
