Tetra with shimmies?

I know it's not the same thing, but I do have a small breeder box that hangs on the inside.

But...thinking about it, it's probably too small. I could try it, though, temp., maybe.

Well...I put the tetra in there for now.

So, I just wait & see if anything comes out of it? Should I put a pea in there, just in case it will eat it, in case it's constipated? If I have some.

And I still don't see how it's still alive.

What would you personally do to treat for internal parasites?

If stop move, poke it slightly to see if moves. No much of nice method of see if fish alive but you gotta do what you gotta do :(
breeder box is fine if it got swim issues. Swim bladder is rarely serious or lethal to fish so if ya act fast.

No, dont treat for parasites. Eliminate parastise and worms and feed it peas for three days and see if it helps, if not then either parasites or worms or even bacterias. Although worms or parasties are uncommon issues in swim bladder troubles in fishes.

Okay. It's just, with this going on since I think last Friday, I didn't know.

I have to be gone for a couple of days, though, but I'll give peas before I leave & when I get back.

Although...Idk if it will eat the peas, if they sink to the bottom of the box, may not be able to.

Thanks...today to Saturday, I already put 2 in, partially because one went straight toward the little tube that goes from one part of the box to the other (for the fry to swim through).

I have these little granules that I feed the fry. They sink somewhat slowly, well, not too fast & not too slow. I kept hoping she would eat some of that, Idk if she did or not. But I am guessing from what I've read, I should just do the peas & hope she eats a bit from them?

Stormyrose786 Stormyrose786 , great job on posting the videos! Sorry I can't help as I've not experienced that behavior before. I actually thought it was due to being a long fin fish but TTA gave you some good advice.

You could try a couple granules to see if it will eat. Do you have any flake food that stays at water surface?

I hope...it's staying mostly vertical now, though, but could be because of the box.

Should I put a few granules in there in case it doesn't, or can't, eat the peas? Or no
If it is caused by constipation, i would no feed it any commercial. Only peas for three days and then fast for 3 days to and then see what happen.
